Customer Care Coordinator – Retail Division

The Customer Care Coordinator ensures an exceptional in-store experience by providing a warm, welcoming greeting to visiting patrons, and maintaining a clean, fully stocked pool and spa chemical department. Serving as the primary front counter associate, this role assists clients with chemical sales, hot tub covers, parts, and accessories. The Coordinator drives sales growth through expert product knowledge, showroom care, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences, with hands-on training to become a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Serve as the primary front counter representative, assisting clients with:

  • Hot tub covers
  • Parts and accessories
  • Pool and spa chemical sales

Become a subject matter expert in pool and spa water testing:

  • Diagnosing customer water issues
  • Recommend products and educate on water care
  • Upsell additional products and accessories that enhance the customer experience
  • Grow chemical and hot tub cover sales through relationship-building and follow-up

Perform regular cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the showroom in top condition:

  • Vacuum floors and maintain showroom cleanliness
  • Clean, wipe down, and balance hot tubs (filled and dry)
  • Organize seasonal and Poly Furniture displays
  • Manage inventory for chemicals, accessories, parts, and covers
  • Collaborating with the General Manager on pricing and inventory strategies
  • Meet regularly with the Assistant General Manager to review goals and showroom strategies
  • Model a positive attitude, professionalism, and leadership beyond the Point of Power

Qualifications

  • Retail or customer service experience preferred (pool/spa industry is a plus)
  • Availability to work most Mondays and Saturdays to support high-volume customer demand
  • Excellent communication, multitasking skills, and creative problem-solving abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment
  • Ability to lift, organize, and move light-to-medium retail products
  • CRM, POS, and/or inventory software experience (Evosus preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

  • Generous hourly wage plus commission.

Wellness Consultant

Candidates with strong communication skills and a general curiosity for getting to know people will excel in this industry. Being a team player is critical, and our focus on elevating the customer experience is paramount.

You will be part of a team where we sell fun (pools, hot tubs, saunas, patio furniture, and more). This is a fun job and fast-paced in our busy season (spring / summer). We provide a fun, casual place to learn and room to grow where you can be part of creating the Endless Weekend experience for our customers.

The right candidate will know the value of wellness, relaxation, and how that can help impact a customer’s health and lifestyle.

This position requires a minimum of 3 Saturdays a month, where our hours are 9am – 3pm.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing, and after-sales services)
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Cross-sell products (hot tubs, swimming pools, saunas, furniture, grills, etc)
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked
  • Ensure our showroom is clean and presentable
  • Coordinate with the Wellness Consultant team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
  • Stay organized for proper customer follow-up
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Skills:

  • Proven work experience as a Sales Associate or similar role.
  • Ability to learn about the pool & hot tub industry
  • Understanding of the retail sales process
  • Basic math skills
  • Track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
  • Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
  • High school degree

Pool and Spa Field Service Technician

Patio Pleasures Pools and Spas located in Sun Prairie, WI, is looking for swimming pool and hot tub service and install technicians to join our service team. If you like building, troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, and delivering backyard fun this is for you. We even offer an apprenticeship program! We are looking for individuals that want to be the best at what they do and who are capable of working individually as well as in a group / team environment.

This is a long term position for the right candidate. The level/pay is based on experience and aptitude. It’s important that you know or can learn the following:

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Delivering hot tubs
  • Installing pools: aboveground and in-ground
  • Installation of new swimming pool liners
  • Troubleshooting and repairing spas
  • Troubleshooting and repairing pool equipment
  • Maintaining pools and spas
  • Cleaning pools and spas
  • Installing new pool equipment
  • Installing new spa equipment
  • Deliver pool and spa supplies

Experience in the pool and spa industry is a plus but not necessary. We are willing to train. (Did we mention we have an apprenticeship program?)

POOL

How to test all the chemicals, properly add the chemicals, and understand why you are adding the chemicals.

The ins and outs of the equipment pad. You know how to set the system in pool mode, spa mode, drain the pool, adjust the valves, adjust the cleaners.

  • You can test, regulate, adjust, and work on most automatic pool cleaners.
  • You can test, program, clean cells, and adjust all chlorine generators.
  • You can take apart and clean any and all filters from sand, de, and cartridges.
  • You can clean out clogged pump impellers.
  • You can troubleshoot and diagnose what is wrong with a pool system that is not working.
  • You can repair and replace pumps, filters, timers, pool cleaners, blowers, lights, automated pool systems.
  • You can repair and diagnose salt systems.
  • You have knowledge of 110v and 220v electrical equipment.
  • You understand chlorinators, backwash valves, PVC plumbing.
  • You have experience installing above ground swimming pools or the ability to quickly learn.

SPA

How to test all the chemicals, properly add the chemicals, and understand why you are adding the chemicals.

Understanding the ins and outs of the equipment for a variety of spa models.

  • You can diagnose problems on hot tubs.
  • You can install pumps on hot tubs.
  • You can install new heaters on hot tubs.
  • Ability to move and help deliver hot tubs.
  • You can replace a board on a hot tub.
  • You can put in a new heating element in a hot tub.
