Our Pool Opening Service includes: Removal of the winter plugs Reinstallation of return fittings Reinstallation of skimmer baskets & equipment plugs Start-up of the equipment and circulation system (this is conditional on the water level being appropriate) It is important to note that services such as winter cover removal, and testing the heater are available but must be specifically requested and may be subject to additional costs or conditions. I see you are interested in our Pool Closing Service. Our Pool Closing Service includes: Pool lights are left in and not "pulled" Drain and disconnect the equipment. Blow out the necessary return and suction lines, when possible. We will add winterizing chemicals and anti-freeze. Auto-fills will be shut off as long as they are accessible when our technician is on site. If requested, we will place your mesh winter cover on the pool and attach it to the anchors. In the case of solid vinyl covers, we place the water bags around the perimeter of the pool, but the water tubes must be filled prior to our arrival. Our techs do not fill water tubes. Customer Requirements Prior to Closing: Pool must be clean, free of debris and chemically balanced to protect and prevent damage to the pool finish / surface (vinyl, gunite / plaster, and fiberglass.). All equipment needs to be accessible in order for us to assure an efficient and effective closing experience. Between 24 and 48 hours of our arrival, the water level needs to be brought down: Above Ground pools need to have water lowered 3" below the return. Fiberglass: Do not lower the water. Vinyl Liner Pool: Mesh Safety Cover, Tarp or No cover: Lower water 3"-4" below the skimmer. Vinyl Liner Pool: Auto Cover: Do not lower the water level. Leave as is as a gizzmo is used in this scenario. If you do not have a gizzmo we have them on our service vehicles and will use them at an additional charge. Please have your winterizing plugs & supplies out and accessible (set them pool side). If they are not accessible, we will use supplies from our service vehicle and add them to the service invoice. Customer Responsibilities Please be sure that the water is at operating level (3/4 up the skimmer) prior to the Technicians arriving. Power for the pool equipment must be turned on. If summer fittings are not left out poolside, you will be charged for all new fittings required in order to get the pool up and running. If the water level is not at the proper level for the day of your service, you will be required to pump off the water that sits on top of the cover prior to your pool opening. If the cover is not pumped off, it will be left for you, the homeowner to do so. Our team will return when the schedule allows if there is enough time in the schedule. If the schedule does not allow for the additional time needed, your service will be moved to the next available date, and you will be charged for the second trip. Keep in mind whatever is left on the cover will normally end up in the pool. If our team has time in their schedule and are able to pump off the water you are charged $160/hour. If you requested a sand change please be sure you have a tarp set near the pool equipment for the old sand to be placed on. Due to environmental reasons, we are not permitted to travel with the old sand. Payment must be given at time of scheduling. Credit cards will be charged the day of appointment.
