The Smartop Upright is the perfect solution when space is limited behind the spa, or you want a privacy and windscreen to create your own personal oasis. The patented design ensures smooth movement and a lightweight cover that is easy to open and close throughout its lifespan. With a sophisticated appearance and durable materials that will withstand extreme climates and weather conditions, Smartop is the hot tub cover you expect, and the spa cover you deserve.
The top side of the Smartop features an attractive textured polymer material, providing both style and protection to the sturdy exterior shell. The polished black aluminum trim gives the finishing touch to provide a cover that enhances the look of your spa setting.

Smartop Swim Spa
Easy Handling – On and Off
Opening and removing the large and cumbersome cover is one of the most challenging aspects of owning a swim spa. Smartop’s patented EAS Lift and Assist System makes handling the cover easy. Choose from three models: Upright, Vanish XL, or Hybrid (one Upright, one Vanish XL).

- Smartop Swim Spa Upright model requires a minimum clearance of 8 inches behind the spa and 3 inches on each side.

- Smartop Swim Spa Hybrid model requires a minimum clearance of 28 inches behind one end of the spa, 8 inches behind the opposite end, and five inches on each side.

While some Bullfrog, Marquis and Caldera OEM covers are in stock most replacement hard covers are custom ordered to fit your spa model.

- Our spa covers use 2 pound density virgin EPS foam core for insulation.
- The covers have an R-value of 19 for the 4” to 2” tapered 2 pound density foam. We also offer 5” to 3” tapered 2 pound density foam which has a higher top strength and better insulating properties with an R-value of 21.
- We use 28 Ounce Marine Grade Vinyl which features mildew inhibitors and UV stabilized coloring to help prevent fading.
- The double sided, solid cover liner we use is chemically treated on both sides to help prevent chemical damage.
- Our 2” Galvanized steel support beams are the strongest in the business and are also resistant to chemicals.
- We use a 4 mil vapor barrier that is heat sealed to the foam core to help ensure the foam core does not become water-logged. Double plastic can be added to provide an 8 mil vapor barrier and two layers of protection.
- Our covers have matching reinforced cover handles and child locking tie downs which are double stitched for added strength.
- The hinges are double-reinforced which makes them extra strong.
Rollaway Swim Spa Covers
