The Great Start Pre-Filter is used when initially filling your spa water. Once it hooks up to the garden hose that will be filling the spa, it can eliminate dirt, sediment, rust, calcium, iron and copper before the water enters the spa. This overall extends filter life, removes solids, reduces harsh mineral deposits, and makes it easier to balance the starting water.

For best results, it is recommended that the Great Start Pre-Filter is used for 1-2 fills.
